Pan Card


For Getting New Pan the Following Documents  are Required.

Individuals.
  • Two Photos:recent colour photograph (size 3.5 cm X 2.5 cm).
  • Filled Application for Pan card.
  • Identification Proof:
    1.   Ration card having photograph of the applicant
    2. Passport
    3. Elector’s photo identity card
    4. Driving License
    5. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Member of Parliament
    6. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Member of Legislative Assembly
    7. Certificate of identity in Original signed by Municipal Councilor
    8. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Gazetted officer
    9. National ID / Citizenship ID / Taxpayer ID duly attested by, Apostille (in respect of countries which are signatories to the Hague convention of 1961) or by Indian Embassy / High Commission or Consulate in the country where applicant is located or authorised  officials  of  overseas  branches of Scheduled Banks registered in India (applicable for foreign citizens only)
    10. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) card issued by Government of India (applicable for foreign citizens only)
    11. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card issued by Government of India
    12. Aadhaar Card issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India
    13. Arm’s license
    14. Pensioner card having photograph of the applicant
    15. Central Government Health Service Scheme Card
    16. Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme photo card
    17. Bank certificate in Original on letter head from the branch (alongwith name and stamp of the issuing officer) containing duly attested photograph and bank account number of the applicant
    18. Photo identity card issued by the Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertaking
  • Address Proof:
    1. Electricity Bill
    2. Landline Telephone Bill
    3. Depository account statement
    4. Credit card statement
    5. Bank account statement/passbook
    6. Employer certificate in original
    7. Passport                   
    8. Elector’s photo identity card
    9. Latest property tax assessment order
    10. Driving License
    11. Certificate of Address signed by a Member of Parliament
    12. Certificate of Address signed by a Member of Legislative Assembly
    13. Certificate of Address signed by a Municipal Councilor
    14. Certificate of Address signed by a Gazetted Officer
    15. National ID / Citizenship ID / Taxpayer ID duly attested by, Apostille (in respect of countries which are signatories to the Hague convention of 1961) or by Indian Embassy / High Commission or Consulate in the country where applicant is located or authorised  officials  of  overseas  branches of Scheduled Banks registered in India (applicable for foreign citizens only)
    16. Bank Account statement in country of residence duly attested by, Apostille (in respect of countries which are signatories to the Hague convention of 1961) or by Indian Embassy/ High Commission or Consulate in the country where applicant is located (applicable for foreign citizens only)
    17. Residential permit issued by the State Police Authorities. (applicable for Foreign citizens based in India only)
    18. Registration certificate issued by the Foreigner’s Registration Office showing Indian Address. (applicable for Foreign citizens based in India only)
    19. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) card issued by Government of India (Applicable for Individuals not being a Citizen of India)
    20. NRE bank account statement showing at least two customer induced transactions in last six months period and duly attested by Indian Embassy/Consulate/high commission or Apostille or by the manager of the bank in which the account is held
    21. Visa granted & appointment letter/contract from Indian Company & Certificate (in original) of Indian address issued by employer on employer's letter head mentioning PAN of the employer & copy of PAN Card for the PAN mentioned in the employer’s certificate
    22. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card issued by Government of India (Applicable for Foreign Citizens)
    23. Aadhaar Card issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India
    24. Passport of the spouse
    25. Post office passbook having address of the applicant
    26. Domicile certificate issued by the Government
    27. Allotment letter of accommodation issued by Central or State Government of not more than three years old
    28. Property Registration Document
    29. Consumer gas connection card or book or piped gas bill
    30. Water Bill
    31. Broadband connection bill 
 Documents for prrof of Date Of Birth (DOB). Docs applicable for the application received on or after Jan 17, 2014
  1. Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Authority or any office authorized to issue Birth     and Death Certificate by the Registrar of Birth and Death of the Indian Consulate as defined in clause (d) of sub-section (1) of session 2 of the Citizenship Act, 1955 (57 of 1955)
  2. Pension payment order
  3. Marriage certificate issued by Registrar of Marriages
  4. Matriculation Certificate
  5. Passport
  6. Driving License
  7. Domicile Certificate issued by the Government
  8. Affidavit sworn before a magistrate stating the date of birth

 If Pan card Is lost:

 For Getting New Pan(old  pan number): 
 PAN Number along with above documents to be Submitted.


For Categories other than Individuals

i.e. Firm, BOI, HUF, AOP, AOP(Trust), Local Authority, Company, Artificial Juridical Person
 Proof of Identity and Address :

HUF
Any document prescribed in the case of individuals in respect of Karta of the HUF.
Company
Copy of Certificate of Registration issued by Registrar of Companies.
Firms
Copy of Certificate of Registration issued by Registrar of Firms or Copy of Partnership Deed.
AOP (Trusts)
Copy of Trust Deed or Copy of Certificate of Registration issued by Charity Commissioner.
AOP / BOI / Local Authority/Artificial Juridical Person
Copy of Agreement or Copy of Certificate of Registration issued by Charity Commissioner or Registrar of Co-operative Society or any other Competent Authority or any other document originating from any Central or State Government Department establishing identity and address of such person.

   Some Facts You May Know:

Pan Card will be delivered By the Agency of Income tax department.
others do not bear any responsibility for delivering pan card.
mean while they give complete information of delivery in the below link
Time may be taken 15-20 working days.
for Loss of Pan card Once the corrections are Cleared pan will be issued.
 customer has to wait until cleared by the income tax department.
